What, who, when, how, why?
What is The 90s Network?
We are a bunch of radio enthusiasts who love bringing 90s songs, movies and memories back to people who remember them.
We are run as a volunteer station aiming to bring you something the 'Big Stations' don't do.
We try to offer some personality, humour and some fun to playing 90s songs and our aim is to have you 'our listener' say to themselves, 'Yes, yes yes I remember where I was when I heard that!'
Our playlist is peppered with The Top 40 From January 1990 to December 1999 along with movie and TV clips from your favourites of the 90s.
Our playlist is programmed each week to add and rotate songs each week so repetition is not an issue. There are over 10,000 songs on our playlist.
Who are The 90s Network?
Phil Fagan has been involved with radio for years, On Beaumont Hospital Radio, Freedom FM and is the IT controller of The 90s Network.
Phil's love for radio shines through with very show he presents and takes pride in his work.
Mike O' Brien was the founder of the station in 2008 and has been the ideas man (Phil makes the ideas come true!).
Mike has worked for many radio stations over the years: Classic Hits, Radio Nova, CKR FM, Freedom FM and Classic Hits 80s.
Radio is a medium he enjoys because of the freedom and availability of 100s of stations to cater for your taste.
Adam Dawes is our website manager and he presents 'Now Thats What I Call The 90s Network' on Sundays here at The 90s Network. He has been the IT guy for 3 years now!
Why listen to us?
The station will bring you back to the the 90s. You will hear songs other radio stations don't play or have simply forgotten about. Give us 10 minutes of your ears and we will bring you down memory lane.
